Sixth Form do's & don'ts
No smoking at The Charter College
The Charter School is a non smoking site. Adults, including teachers, are not allowed to smoke anywhere on the school site including the main drive.
If students must smoke, they must do so well away from the school site, as it sets a bad example to impressionable younger students, provides a poor reflection to the local community, and contributes to a misleading view of the significant contributions made to the school community by Post 16 students.
Students who are found smoking on school premises will have a letter sent home and placed on file. Once 3 letters are accrued, a one day exclusion will be enforced.
