The deadline for receipt of completed applications was Friday 16 December 2011.

The application process and schedule
Following receipt of applications, letters were sent to everyone who has been invited to Advice and Guidance sessions on Wednesday 29 February or Wednesday 7 March.  Conditional offers will be made after that. A conditional offer is made on predicted GCSE results, and, for external candidates, appropriate references having been received.

Everyone who receives a conditional offer will be invited to attend our Taster Afternoon. The date for this is not yet confirmed. This gives everyone the opportunity to attend taster sessions to learn more about the content of the AS courses we offer, meet subject teachers and have any questions answered.

GCSE results
Your GCSE results will be published and available from your school in August 2012. You should submit your results to us before you come to enroll. Standard items required to enroll with The Charter College are:
  • A paper copy of your GCSE / BTEC results
  • Your 13 digit UCI number (found on your statement of results)
  •  A record of your entitlement to Child Benefit, stating your name and your entitlement (parents or carers usually hold this information)
Photocopies cannot be accepted. Please bring originals. Failure to produce the above required documents may jeopardize your enrolment.

You need to come early on Enrolment Day to secure your subject choices. External applicants must complete an Admissions form before they can enroll on courses. To speed up this process, you may complete this form when submitting your results.
