Appeals Information
The arrangements for appeals will be in line with the Code of Practice on School Admission Appeals, published by the Department for Education.
APPEALS PROCESS
Parents/carers wishing to appeal should contact the Admissions Officer by phone on 020 7346 6602 or by email – admissions@charter.southwark.sch.uk to obtain the appeals procedure and to be informed of the deadline for appealing.
Parent/carers will then have at least 20 school days from the date of notification that their application was unsuccessful to lodge and submit their appeal. Parent/carers will then be given 10 school days notice of the time of their appeal hearing.
Appeal hearings for September 2012 intake will take place in June 2012.
