Dates for Open Days and Question and Answer evening are as follows:
Open Days
Tuesday 21st September 2010 2.15pm – 5pm
Wednesday 29th September 2010 2.15pm – 5pm
The full format of our open days will be posted on our website from
September 13th 2010. Please note that the last tour of the school will start at 4.15pm on both days. There will be head teacher presentations throughout the afternoon. Due to the large number of prospective parents that wish to visit our school, for health and safety reasons it is not possible to open the school as normal. However a large number of our pupils are involved in these days both as guides and in sample lessons. There will also be the opportunity to talk to a wide range of staff across the school.
Question and Answer Evening Wednesday 6th October 2010 6pm – 7.30pm
We are also offering a question and answer evening to offer parents and carers another opportunity to ask questions to senior members of staff. Please note there are NO pupils or school tours on this evening.
During October 2009, over 1200 parents and potential pupils attended our Open Days. We hope that we managed to offer everyone a good experience of our outstanding school. The feedback was very positive - particularly for the pupil guides who did an excellent job and the subject areas that put on fantastic demonstrations and explanations.
