Year 7 Dragon's Den

Congratulations to all that were involved in the Year 7s’ Dragon’s Den event and a huge thank you to our dragons - Malcolm Smith, Paul Baker and Ronke Inge and to the ICT and DT at school who supported the project..
Following on from our Winter Wonderland Sale, pupils in each tutor group were asked to put together a five minute pitch to the dragons on 19 January. Here are the winners who received trophies, medals and very single student a TCS branded flash drive.
Ms Waterman who organised the event commented, ‘This was the first Dragons Den style event created for year 7 students. The aim was to develop entrepreneurial skills and qualities within technology lessons. I was absolutely amazed at the standard of work year 7 had produced. They demonstrated an abundance of flair and business acumen throughout the process and the presentations simply blew me away.”
