Welcome to The Creative and Performing Arts department (KCA).
Our KCA is made up of 4 key subject areas: Art, Drama, Music & PE.
We are a thriving and successful KCA much valued by the staff and student population. This success is reflected in the uptake at GCSE and A level and in our excellent results.
All subjects are taught within the curriculum at KS3 and as options at KS4 and 6th Form. We also offer an extensive range of extra curricular opportunities including a wide range of, concerts, plays, exhibitions and sporting fixtures. Trips and projects with professional arts organisations add to the richness of our extensive arts offer.
There are 11 members of staff in our KCA who teach their discrete subject specialisms in order to offer the best possible delivery to pupils. All staff are highly skilled practitioners many of whom have professional experience within the creative and performing arts industries.
