The Charter School

Humanities Welcome

Welcome to Humanities. This area of the Charter School consists of; Citizenship, Geography, History, and Religious Education. Our Post 16 provision enables us to further diversify our offer to include Law, Government and Politics, and Sociology.

The Humanities are subjects which deal with the human experience; their social structures and relationships, environment, past and systems of belief, through which they make sense of the world around them.

There are 12 members of staff in the Humanities department who teach in their discreet subject specialisms in order to offer the best possible delivery to pupils.

Humanities is a dynamic and innovative key curriculum area, which is well regarded by the student body; reflected in the popularity of our GCSE and post 16 courses.
