Concrete Jungle
Our Eco credentials were recognised by the BBC when they came to record the whole of the latest edition of One Planet - the BBC World Service programme. Please click here to listen. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0089chd
As part of the UN's International Year of Bio-Diversity we are launching a nationwide project - The Concrete Jungle. Pupils will be building a wildlife garden during CRE8 week from 12 - 16 July. There will be more information about how they can get involved in assemblies and via tutors after half term.
The Natural HIstory museum was so impressed with this project that it invited us to the launch of the programme of activities for Bio-diversity. The new minister of Bio-diversity attended along with Spring watch presenters Chris Packham and Martin Hughes-Games.
