The Charter School

Science Kitchen

Since September our year 7 pupils have been taking part in an exciting new project alongside the Science Museum.   To explain more and In recognition of their achievements that Year 7 have made so far, please do come to school on Monday 14 June at 5pm to find out more.

Kitchen Science is a collection of activities developed by the Science Museum to show you that simple, fun experiments can be done at home using everyday items from your kitchen or bathroom cupboards. Science isn’t just for laboratories, it’s all around us – and we want to show you how!

In this workshop you’ll see some of the things that year 7 have been doing with The Science Museum as well as an opportunity for you to get hands on and try some of these things yourself!

Children and their siblings are welcome and complementary drinks and nibbles will be available. So if you fancy a fun afternoon of activity with your children, the Science Museum team would love to see you at this special Kitchen Science event.
