The Charter School

 

 

 

 

The Friends of The Charter School have been fundraising for The Charter School for over ten years. 

 

We would like to use the tenth anniversary of the school as an opportunity to launch – The Friends’ Fund.

 

The aim of the fund is simple – to ring fence a sum of money every year to be used directly to help pupils purchase items, experiences or fulfil opportunities that directly benefit their education and that they would not normally be able to afford to do. 

 

We want to make the process not only fully transparent but also simple and easy to apply for.    All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence with awards being considered on a termly basis. The Awarding Committee will be made up of the following personnel– The Chair of Friends, a representative from the headship team of The Charter School and either the secretary or treasure of The Friends. The decisions of the Awarding Committee are final.

 

Any parent or carer wishing to apply to the fund simply needs to write a letter to the Chair of The Friends for their application to be considered.

 

The Friends will assess the funding awards on an annual basis.
