The Big Wow – is Walk to School day across the country.    We are launching the event for the whole of London boroughs on Tuesday 19 October as part of our continued Tenth Anniversary Celebrations.   The Olympic Baton from 1948 will be in school along with our own Olympic and world medallist, Andy Lewis – Director of Sport.

 

There will be a Rollapaluza competition occurring after school on that day and all pupils are invited to take part free of charge. There will be a staff competition at around 4pm so do come and join in the fun. If we get enough interest we will also be holding a parent competition £2 to join with a cash prize for the winner.

 

The Friends of The Charter School will be selling refreshments. If you are interested in either your child or yourself being involved please email ten@charter.southwark.sch.uk putting 19 October in subject field.

 

We are also welcoming a number of primary schools earlier in the day to take part in a series of competitions.
